It’s okay to feel lost.

A lot of us are feeling it.

It’s not your fault, though.

You’re currently feeling lost because you feel the opportunities are endless.

You constantly ask yourself, ‘Is this what I should be working on?’

Or, you’re asking, ‘What do I want to do with my life?’

And the endless number of opportunities paralyze you.

These are questions you’ve been pondering every day. You journal about these questions.

But each and every day is a different answer.

One day you want to be a writer, the next is a photographer, another is a developer, and…

We all feel lost some point in our lives. Wondering what we should really be doing. Here’s how I’m trying to find my way.

Productivity.

A buzzword that many of us consistently try to improve. We read all the productivity blog posts and watch all the Youtube videos. We hear all the common tips:

  • Set goals
  • Time block
  • Pomodoro Technique
  • Plan ahead
  • Say ‘No’ more often

That last one is the one I’m going to focus on for this article. Because it’s an effective tip. …

Often times, a business’ goal is to fulfill their company mission. However, in order to fulfill that mission, they’ll need revenue. That’s where marketing comes in.

Marketing helps gain their customers’ attention. Although revenue is the lifeblood for any business, I also believe attention is becoming an important currency for success.

In this new attention-economy, it’s about the strategy and execution of your marketing campaign and some marketers continue to get this wrong.

Core areas of marketing

Marketing is an important part of your business’ success. You’ll need to invest in marketing in order to grow.

Luckily, it’s a very broad industry that can…

Why research is important for conversions?

I’d argue research is the most important part of any conversion or growth work.

Optimizing for conversions is a necessary task for any business. Without conversions, your business will fail. Metrics like traffic, social media likes, follows, etc. are all worthless until they start bringing in revenue. Of course, they are important, but you need to also make money from this attention that you are getting.

Also, if you are getting steady conversions, you need to make sure you are working on increasing that number. Just like the common saying…

“If you’re not growing, you’re dying.” — I’ve heard this…

As some of you may know, I’ve started building a digital agency called Hidden Link Studios. It officially started back in January 2020 and have been trying to grow the agency during a global pandemic.

It was already hard growing an agency given how competitive the landscape is.

Also, thanks to the ‘gurus’ that tainted the agency industry. Many gurus created YouTube videos and courses saying building an agency is easy and you can make a shit ton of money.

This led to people selling services and not being able to fulfill their promises, which ended up burning the client…

Today is my 26th birthday and this past year has been an interesting one.

Despite this rollercoaster of a year, I tried to make the most of it and had learned some lessons along the way.

I thought it would be helpful to share some of those lessons I’ve learned this year:

Lesson 1: Make time for yourself

‘You can’t give yourself to everything and everyone. You need to make time for yourself.’

I’ve always struggled with this. I would always be asked to handle something for my family and friends or something that comes up with Hidden Link or other social responsibilities.

The reality is…

Before even starting Hidden Link Studios, I knew I wanted to work with startups. I loved the opportunity for fast-paced growth and the constant learning it requires to grow startups. I had one problem, I wasn’t confident in my abilities to provide the best possible service so we can help these startups.

I was well-versed in SEO and content marketing with experience in paid social ads. Most startups couldn’t wait for months to see some results from SEO and content. …

It’s no secret that COVID-19 has been the main point of discussion these past few months. It’s unfortunate to see how the virus has affected every area of life. Countries are shutting down, schools are canceling classes, economies are on a downward spiral, and jobs are switching to work-from-home (WFH) opportunities.

The idea of WFH is nothing new and the trend has consistently grown in the workforce. However, it wasn’t fully adopted by many companies who believe employees must be in the office to succeed. …

Working from a remote location allows you the freedom to work from wherever you want, as long as you have a wifi connection. Distractions or obstacles can hinder work performance when you have the freedom to work from anywhere. The world of freelance is extremely fast-paced which is an intense mix of excitement, but also truly grueling. As a new freelancer, I’ve realized I’ve worked damn near every day since I’ve jumped into freelancing. So, when someone tells you freelancing is easy and you have lots of free time, you really don’t. You have a lot more responsibilities as a freelancer compared to the average employee.

However, these past couple of months have been the most rewarding and fulfilling times of my quarter-of-a-century life.

Here are the top 5 lessons I’ve learned so far:

1. Time Management for Freelancing

When you’re an employee of…
